How do you connect two mobile phones using wifi?

Using a router or configure manually settings of network adapters. To make manual settings you have to open a wireless network properties and change the way of getting an ip address from automatic to manual. And put an ip, for instance, 192.168.1.2. And for another laptop to do the same but put another ip address, for instance, 192.168.1.3

its impossible without a router or any other connected valid network...

the thing is u need ip address to connect to another devise unlike bluetooth ...

and if u have a router the only thing u can do is share ur interned ,,

if ur phone is CAPABLE OF" WIFI DIRECT " then u can share ur files... :P

Yes, you can. You need to set up ip addresses manually in the wireless adapters properties (default is to get ip address from DHCP server). Make sure that addresses are in the same subnetwork, for instance, 192.168.11.2 and 192.168.11.3

well open your phones Wi-Fi setting and activate personal hot spot but if you have an iPhone open your cellular data tab in settings and activate both cellular data and local hotspot then connect look for the hotspot on your computer
