Instal the Mac CoreAudio drivers from the CD that came with the Presonus, or better yet, download the latest drivers from Presonus directly. Inside GarageBand, go to Preferences, and choose the Firestudio for the audio input and output. In Logic Studio, choose, Preferences -> Audio and choose the Firestudio for Recording and Playback.
Nope...Garageband is made by Apple, Ableton is made by Ableton. If you want a more advanced program by apple that is very compatible with Garageband, get Logic. That's what I use - Logic is used by a lot of the pros, in fact, the creator of dubstep himself, Skream, uses Logic. I love it and I can convert all of my garageband files straight to Logic. They also work very similarly, except Logic is a billion times better. I have used Ableton, and I like it a lot, but Logic is just better for my purposes....their both great...be warned, however, that Logic only works on Macs.
Apple purchased the eMagic company who made the Logic audio software in 2002. As well as developing the Logic software Apple also produced a simplified consumer product called Garageband which they released in 2004.
You can import MIDI files into Finale, but Garageband does not export this format. You can upgrade to Logic Express or Logic Studio and open your Garageband files and export the tracks that were played by MIDI keyboard to a MIDI file. Solo audio (one note at a time solo instruments) can be converted with Logic Studio, although the process is not perfect.
You could try cutting the treble down, otherwise, being a heavy user of Garageband, .. no, but there are programs out there that can extract the voice. The only other way I know is to use Logic Pro.
Garageband songs can be shared to iTunes or exported to a file as MP3 or AIFF files. Garageband songs cannot be exported to FLStudio, ProTools, Cubase, Sonar or other project file types. If you have Logic Studio, you can open Garageband songs and export the tracks to AAF or OMF files. The virtual instruments and loops that are included with Garageband cannot be used in other programs.
From what i know Clue does not connect to mathematics, but it does connect to logic because you must think things through and use what information you have to find the answer.
Logic is necessary for the study of philosophy so as to be able to reason out some of the principles used in philosophy. Philosophy tries to connect general problems to reality and therefore logic must be applied.

For basic music production, GarageBand will do, and it comes with Mac OS X. For more advanced music production, Apple's Logic Studio is a good option: http://www.apple.com/logicstudio/ .
Apple makes two pieces of software that might be able to help you. GarageBand is their consumer music product that comes on all Macintoshes. Logic Pro is their professional level music program.
Logic Studio 9 came with all the Garageband Jam Packs that Apple has offered. If you used the Apple App Store to purchase Logic Pro 9 or MainStage 2, you will also be able to download the content from Logic Studio. The boxed version of Logic Express, boxed Jam Packs and Logic Studio 9 are no longer sold. If you just want the Jam Packs and have OS X Snow Leopard or Lion, download Mainstage from the App store for $30.00. It has all the content for much less than Apple used to charge for one Jam Pack.
