I know it works for snails....... put a little beer in the bottom of a container and place in your garden, depending on what typr of container, arrange it so the snail/slug can get in. They will crawl in and then drown in the beer. Doesn't matter what sort of beer

∙ 11y agoPlace yeast granulates (tea spoon) with 1 1/2 tea spoon of sugar in a high container, place one tea cup cold water and mix. See container is half full, makes it difficult for slugs or snails to slide upwards once it tries to slide out of it..half drunk/dead...slides backwards and drowns/suffocates. Tip: do this during dry days, rain might dilute mixture....

After you get rid of them, scatter Diatamaceous Eath in and around the bed, the slugs will not cross it because it cuts their bellies. It will not cut your skin, even if you walk on it.
