How do you convince your mom to let you do beauty pageants?

1. Pick a reputable pageant that you want to enter. Remember that it shouldn't be too expensive and it shouldn't be too far away. Note that your parents might like it better if you chose a scholarship pageant rather than a glitz one.
2. Ask your mother/father POLITELY if you can enter it, and make sure that you tell them if you can't enter, then you completely understand.
3. Come up with a list of pros and cons and be ready to present it to your parents. This is useful and it also makes it looks like you have done your homework.
4. Come up with a way to raise the money to enter, buy the dress, and other clothing, if needed. You could babysit or do odd jobs.
5. Come up with a talent, and make sure your parents think it is worthwhile and amazing.
6. (optional) See if you can get some of your close friends to do the same. This way, your parents can do a carpool, and they will be happy.

• Keep your grades up in school.
• Don't be a brat around your parents.
• Do all your chores, and when you are done, ask if there are any more you can do.
• Be very sweet and resourceful.
• Practice your talents a lot-this way, your parents will believe that you are dedicated.
• And last but not least-practice your smile!

you can't do anything besides take no for an answer my mother wouldn't let me, she just said after your bat mitzvah but she knew i would have braces then. she told me she would get me a flipper but she knows my dad won't let me be in glitz pageants. sorry :-(
