You leave.
Either put up with it or get a different job.
Why cope? Get out of the relationship and find someone that will treat you with dignity, respect and love. They are out their, waiting for you. This person will never change who they are but you surely can change who you are with. Go be happy, please. Life is too short.
My mother suffered from (undiagnosed) Narcissistic Personality Disorder. During the last years of her life she showed signs of Dementia. My step-mother (my father knew how to pick his women!!) has been, for her entire life, a full blown narcissist with all the traits of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. She has recently (she is 78) been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. I have no idea how to cope with it. It is soul destroying to have to deal with her.
Having a conversation with your boyfriend and his bestfriend about what bothers you about his best friend may be a good way to cope.
It may feel like breaking up with a boyfriend or girlfriend when your best friend breaks up with you. It is best to surround yourself with supportive people to cope.
People are very strange sometimes, if this person was not a true friend, I would pick up and go on with life.
just ignore my bestfriends bestfriend. btw, she's not my friend
Tell her you like this person. If she knows or doesn't care, she probably isn't your friend in the first place.
Modest is the usual opposite of narcissistic.
The Tagalog word for narcissistic is "narsisista."
To cope on a mountin you need fresh supplies of food etc, etc, and you need to have a suitable tent and supplies in it. You need warm clothes and it would help if you took a friend with you!
