I don't think you can, unless you are extremely proficient with computers :) I would recommend 3 things. You can only deactivate it. I believe, if you go under 'account' there is an option to 'deactivate' your account. This allows no one to see your profile- not even you! And I think you can choose to reactivate your account up to a certain time.
