How do you delete your user on the computer?

Open Computer Management, in the console tree click on users that is - Computer Management > System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Users. Right click on the user account that you need to delete and click delete. The user will be deleted.

Because previously stored data can be brought back with the right software and applications, the disk wiping process will actually overwrite your entire hard drive with data, several times. Once you format you'll find it all but impossible to retrieve the data which was on the drive before the overwrite.

The only way to completely delete your hard drive is to destroy it. Almost all info on a hard drive can be recovered, even when deleted or formatted.

You cannot delete your own username while logged onto that user. You must first logout once you have logged into ANOTHER ACCOUNT you may follow these steps:

1. Open Control Panel

2. Go to Accounts

3. Go to your username by clicking on it

4. Click on "Delete Account".
