Get a wreath about the size of your head on top, so that you can wear it like a crown. Just use pipecleaner and put a small tree in the middle of it, to hold it in place. You can get those at the dollar store.

Then, just apply garland or battery-powered lights, or no-breakable ornaments, and you've got the best hat.

You may need to tie it onto your head.

I recommend some sort of garland, to match. or a red bow, depending on the color of the wreath/tree.
