Copying a mangaka's style that you like without tracing is harder work, but it's better practice, plus you can mix and match lots of different things freehand.
After time you will develop your own style, and will be able to expand on it, and introduce new techniques to your work as well.

to be a manga-ka, maybe its good to go to manga school. which there are some English teaching school in Japan. some people are mangaka from when they are in middle school. so I guess u also need some talent to tell the truth.
Cause they draw like that I guess? =D
I hardly can tell you that since I live 10000km away from US, BUT I can tell you how you can learn to draw manga or comic without manga school... First you need to obsereve anatomy of face, body, hands, feet etc...Second you need to get the view of proportion, how to make you characters look realistic...So buy some books of anatomy...Face is most interesting to draw, and most complicate...How to draw face in three pose, anfas or frontal look of face, profile and half profile...First when you draw manga, first draw your characters on paper individually, study proportions of their body and face, and only after you practiced your character so they look same in all poses of body and face and facial expresions, than you can draw... For tool, you can use micron or g pen, and rough paper...Also explore other works on net, study drawings of other famous mangaka like Toriyama,Kishimoto,Oda, Tite, but also study work of caomc book artist like Fredie E Williams...And practice, all the time, do doodles with pen, so your hand can loose a bit, and you will easier draw...
yes! it is so good!
You can draw over them.
the income is based on how much you sell so write good manga and make good money :] good luck if you plan on becoming a mangaka
You have to be confident to draw, no matter how good you can draw. Then I would have lessons or self teach myself how to draw human figures and etc; everything you have to be able to draw. But really, because you can draw manga doesn't mean you can always be a mangaka (a manga artist), because manga is part of Art. So I guess you have to study art and such in high school and in uni. I don't think there is a university for learning manga. (If there is, it would be very rare i think.) After uni I would have to FULLY confident in art AND manga. <----Yes, it's very painful. Just before entering uni, I would suggest that you should have your own style of manga and art. <--- Yep, that's the very important part. I believe choosing the best uni is the uni in Japan, becasue manga is originally from Japan. (meaning you will learn more.) So I am suggesting that learning Japanese will be important too. (By the way, just in case you're thinking to become a mangaka- it isn't easy.) Anyways, I hope this has helped you at least 5 percent. If you mean for a job then you go to any anime (manga in cartoon form)/manga companies such as Star Child (producers of FLCL and Evangelion). Most manga companies are located in the country of Japan it's self. It's just like getting any other job. Go up to the companies front door, knock twice and sign up for a job interview.

Some good samurai manga would be, Samurai Champloo rurouni kenshin Inuyasha(not so much about a samurai but has basically the same feel to it)
read the manga, (i don't read but the manga) .. the manga hasn't finished yet so i don't think it isn't clear yet. so be patient xD ^^In the Manga, Sakura does in fact confess her love to Naruto, I'm not convinced she is truly over Sasuke, but she does tell Naruto she loves him.
