It is possible to export fully uncompressed Audio and Video from Windows Movie Maker, but be forewarned that the file size will be enormous! Windows Movie Maker comes with several quality profiles, but you can create your own profiles using Windows Media Profile Editor. Follow the instructions here:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Create-custom-movie-settings-for-Windows-Movie-Maker

The Profile Editor gives two options for lossless audio: uncompressed PCM and WMA lossless. So far as I know, there is only one option for lossless video: "Full Frames (uncompressed)". I wouldn't recommend it, since it yields ridiculously huge file sizes. You can get very high quality video with a much smaller file size by selecting the "Quality VBR" option for "Windows Media Video 9 Advanced Profile." Under "Target bit rates" click "Add" and set the video quality to 100%. Save your custom profile and copy it to a folder called "Profiles" in :\Program Files\Movie Maker\Shared. (See instructions at the above link.) The new quality setting will be available next time you use Windows Movie Maker.

When i post a video on you tube using windows movie maker it says export it to a windows movie maker file but i dont know how how do i export it?

You have to Publish the video first (that is exporting). The process changes the Windows Movie Maker file to a Standard viewing format (and not a project file).

Can you change a file from quicktime to mp3?

You need to export the Quicktime video to audio only. If you are using Windows Movie Maker, you will first need to convert the video file to one compatible with Windows Movie Maker:.asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmvI believe the procedure to create 'audio only' is the same for both iMovie and Movie Maker. Instead of dragging the Quicktime file into the video track, drag it into the AUDIO track. This will remove the video portion and allow you to only export the audio.
