Like any other complex piece of machinery an X-Ray Machine should have a Users Manual with it. The Manual will detail what you can fix and what a highly trained Technician will be needed to fault find and fix.
You can't fix the pump, only replace it. It is located in the fuel tank. I know of no online repair manual. Go to any Auto Parts store and purchase a Hayne's or Chilton's repair manual. Around $15
