Most computers only have 2 with one in use unless it is very high dollar. Just check location on your drive and see how many plugged in, how many open slots. Foe location search extra ram and your comp name, you should get plenty of results with more info.You don't want more than your comp can take and all slots should be balanced (same memory in each) You can buy the cards on Ebay once you know which to get
