How can you find out if your wireless router is being used by outside sources?

If they are monitoring-only, you can't tell. If they are using your wireless to surf the web, any monitoring software will tell you.
You can also check your DHCP server for unknown clients and watch your network neighborhood to see if computers you don't know are popping up.
I have an open wireless (intentionally) and often see other computers in my network neighborhood.

∙ 11y agoYou will need to log in admin and check list of connected computers. By comparing MAC addresses in the list with yours you can find out which ones do not belong to you.
