contact Smith and Wesson for a gun history report you can do it on their web site

  • A gun history report can only tell you when it was made, if it had any non-standard features, where it was shipped from the factory, and possibly if it has ever been returned to the factory for alterations or repair. S&W doesn't know who owns every gun they have made. IF it is in a state or country that requires registration of all handguns, a law enforcement official or officer of the court MAY be able to get this information, but it is not public record.
