I am almost certain that having the VIN number and calling the dealer will get you the result you want in under 15 minutes.
there should be a sticker in the trunk maybe under the spaer tire should have the code there
My car had the code right under my hood on the fire wall.
on the inside of the drivers side door. on a white sticker (if it's still visible)
Color code. Located in the owner's manual, glove box, door jam, trunk lid, etc. Look around and you will find it.
color code will be written on id plate on door or sill
If code isn't written in the owners manual then remove the drivers door panel and get the code on label of the door handle.
have a 72 vette 2/door coupe its original color isa blue where would i find color code or do you know the color. thanks
Depends on what the exterior color is. The code is on the drivers door panel.
it was a 1964 4 door Falcon color was Dynasty Green - Ford color code M1625
When you open your drivers door there will be a square white sticker in the door jam with the VIN near the top. At the bottom you will see C/TR (color/trim) there will be a three digit code (example 1E7) whick is the paint code, then the interior color which is four digits
You can put a manual rollup window back on track, in your 1994 Chevy Cavalier, by removing the inside door panel. The window track is easily visible with the door panel removed.
Usually found: Glove Box or Rear Compartment Spare Tire Cover / Wheel Well or inside Deck Lid Other places to look: Driver Side Door Jam, Passenger Door Rear Face, Left Rear Access Door, Left Rear Compartment Inside Door, Passenger Side Sun Visor, Under Driver Seat, or Wheel House. If you do not see the code on those places mentioned above, check your Owner's manual for your vehicle for the location of paint color code. The Owner's manual does not tell you what the paint color code is, but it tells you where it's located on your vehicle. If you do not have the Owner's manual or the paint color code is illegible, contact the dealer with the VIN number on your vehicle, and they should be able to provide you with the information. Paint Color Code Looks Like: Usually a three or four digits and start with a WA, such as WA9795 or without WA such as 9795. If the vehicle is two-tone there will be an "L" (for lower) or a "U" (for upper) before the numbers. Example: WA U-7154 or WA L-348D. GM usually lists two codes on every vehicle. There is usually a two digit code, such as 26.
There should be a transmission code on the Mfr's sticker on the driver's door or door post. If you can find a good repair manual at the library you can compare that code to the code definition chart. This chart should be near the front of the manual. It is probably a 727 TorqueFlight.
