Depending on what Anti-Virus software you use will tell you where the virus is and also delete it and store it away in a vault. AVG one of the well known and partly free softwares that can be downloaded locates and can delete the virus. Hope this answers your question.

∙ 12y agoDownload avg free antivirus and malware by booting your PC into safe mode. Let those two scan and delete anything they find. Also I'm advertising that you download advanced system care. Check it out yourself because it's free, speed up your PC and unclutters everything.

1. If possible, try Installing a reputable anti-virus program like Avira, Avast, or Clamwin.
2. If this is not possible, run a reputable on-line scanner, like BitDefender.
P.S. This is not free, but if all else fails, you could also buy a boot/PC recovery disk from a reputable source, like "MC afee"
