well, one basic way is merchanting. but to be able to make 5m a day, you will have to have quite an amout to start with...at least 5-10m. if you don't have this much, then merch an item with the money you already have and wait till you have enough gp to make good money when you merch. i can't tell you what to merch because of then constant changing prices in the grand exchange. if you want to find a good item,

this is the prices of every item in runescape. it tells you what prices are going up and down. find an item that's price is going up in the future, and buy as many as you can. and then sell them when the price has reached it's raise...... and there is also a very good merching clan called "2lum". this clan is always right and will give good results.
