He gives you the rainbow wing and the guy to the right of mahogany selling ragecandybars will let you pass. If you keep going, you will find the ice cave. Go through there, beat the 8th gym, then you can get ho oh.but i know ice cave isn't easy so im going to guide you through it for equipment you'll need at lest 123 MAX REPELS so it doesn't take you 6 hours to get through the cave have one lvl 55 fire type or anything that's good at beeting ice type Pokemon one escape rope at least 32 hyper potions and your ready to go now the trainers on route 44 are easy.Now the beginning is easy its harder the farther you get now im sure you will make it through the first patch of ice.now the second one is harder you go to the rock ahead of you in the ice then to your left there would be a rock go there the ahead to the next rock then to your left to the next rock then down then left again then ahead...again then your right and you will be done with that patch of ice ahead of you will be another patch of ice with the TM waterfall in go in it then get out of the ice and up the stairs and down the ladder now on the next floor you will see holes push boulder in the holes it will help you with the next floor now im going to skip a floor when you see a lady in a patch of ice push her out when you do the exit will be ahead.
