If you mean how to get a really good Snorlax when you encounter it, then it's all in the chance. The first time I met Snorlax it was a girl. Then my game got hit out and I had to reencounter it. Now, I have a boy level 50 Snorlax that knows Block, Rollout, Crunch, and Giga Impact. His ability is Thick Fat and he was holding Leftovers. If you meet a Snorlax you don't like, just keep soft-reseting the game, but make sure you save in front of it.
