Reverse leg lifts and riding a bicycle are pretty good. Lie on your stomach with your arms extended ahead of you. Life each leg alternately until you feel the buttocks tighten. Repeat 20 times. Do this every day. You can also do it standing, but you must take care not to strain your back. Lying on a firm surface (not a bed) is better.

If you want to slim and/or firm up your butt i would suggest do a lot of squats. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and bend your knees to a 90 degree angle. Lower your butt to knee level. Trust me it firms your butt keep at it.
excerise is only half of the process of losing weight. if you want you want to lose weight in your butt, then your diet has to be altered. eating right and excercising will increase your chances of firming your butt. also, there are creams you can buy from supermarkets, chemists, k-mart, big-w etc. that were designed to help firm the skin. you could rub some of these creams into your butt and you should see results within a couple of weeks.
