The cost of hiring a musician can vary widely based on factors such as their experience, location, and the type of performance required. For example, a local solo artist might charge between $100 to $500 for a gig, while a professional band or well-known musician could command thousands of dollars. Additionally, costs may include travel expenses, equipment rental, and other fees, which can further impact the total price. It's best to discuss specific requirements and budgets directly with the musician or their booking agent.
