well coming from a guy who is on the opposite side of this question i would have to say it depends on the guy. if he is a shy guy (like me) you may just have to ask him out. if it is a confident guy just try to look beautiful, but dont try to be by him allot, and dont try to hard. but if you are the shy one i can see what your problem is. what you need to do is (well if your trying to get a shy guy) ask one of your trusted friends to ask him out for you. also girls if they ask a guy out they have much less to be embarrassed about. girls may make fun of a certain guy asking out a certain girl, but guys will never make fun of a girl for asking out a guy. so dont be afraid of asking a guy out. and remember that even if you dont realize it their always is somebody who is secretly trying to build up the courage to ask you out. and by the way if a guy is shy he may not ask you out because he is afraid he'll cry or somthing if you say no (thats why im not asking out my crush (and she has a boyfriend already)), because even if everyone hates you (which im sure they dont, im just saying for a example) if sombody has a crush on you, you will look like a goddess to them.
