Soak them in your sink with approx. 1 cup of baking soda and leave for at least an hour. If this doesn't work, then it's best to chuck them out. Plastic is bad for picking up odors. Marcy

I had Tupperware that had been stored in a garage which smelled very musty. I thought I would just have to toss it. I tried Clorox, etc. to no avail then just left it on deck for several days to eventually dispose of it. When I went to dispose the large pieces, lo and behold, it no longer smelled. Since then I have been told that the ozone in the air and sunshine did the trick. Technique was easy, green and economical.
