acquiring a career in acting is a difficult process. First off, if you like in a place like LA or New York City, you can look in your local newspaper for open casting calls. The problem with open casting calls is that there's no guarantee that you'll get a part. You could also go with a riskier route and audition for a talent search TV show. Also, I heard that Abercrombie and Fitch is having a contest, and the winner gets to star in a screen test, which is not exactly a film career, but it could give you a start in modeling that could lead to a career in acting. Whether you try one of these approaches or find another one, keep in mind that only a select few out of the 6 billion people in the world right now are lucky enough to have a career in acting.
