YES!!☺ not only do you choose your secondary weapon, (unlike Strikeforce) you get to choose BOTH your weapons!! it's amazing. there are some perks to it though. like female characters cant use the giant blade, male characters can't use the chain whip, and some characters are better at using specific weapons than other characters.

What happens in season 3 Ninjago?
Episode 1: Garmadon recreates the destinies bounty and calls it the black bounty. He teams up with the snakes. Since the ninja hq was destroyed (destinies bounty), they all get jobs to buy the hero suite apparent with a training room. The snakes rob the bank (Coles Job) While Cole is taking his "beauty rest". Jay gets kidnapped by snakes. All the other ninja hear about the bank robbery and leave their jobs. They all get fired. They figure out the snakes went underground and into a subway. They find the snakes only to figure out that the robbery was only a distraction to kidnap lloyd. Right before scales kidnaps Lloyd sensei wu and Nya come into the hero suite where Lloyd is and they bring scales to jail. Garmadon and the other snakes make it to the golden valley (birthplace of the golden weapons) and garmadon throws the golden weapons into the golden lava. The lava rises into the air and there is a big flash. The ultimate golden weapon is created!
