There isn't one. However, there is a 50% chance children will grow out of it when they reach adulthood. Highly effective prescription medication is also readily available, and talking to your doctor or your child's pediatrician to determine the best option is the way to proceed. It may take some time to find the right dosage, but when that dosage is found, you or your child should have no significant disadvantages as compared to someone without ADD.

People are born with ADHD, there are two major causes of ADHD. The first on is genes, you can't change genes, if ADHD is in your genes you can't prevent it. Just because ADHD is in your genes doesn't mean that theres a 100% chance of passing it on to your child. The second is environmental factors such as smoking and drinking alcohol during pregnancy. Children exposed to lead or toxins at an early age have a higher risk of ADHD. The best thing you can do to prevent ADHD is not smoke or drink alcohol during pregnancy.

ADHD is not a bad thing. People with ADHD are not stupid, there are many famous people with ADHD such as Michael Jordan and Justin Timberlake.

You can't get "rid" of it, it is a life-long disease. Now, it can be treated with certain drugs, but these do not cure it permanently, so you have to take them for the rest of your life. (unless you can do without medication)
