This may sound too simple to be useful, and if that is the case please pardon me. The pain you feel comes not from the Diabetes but from wanting things to be different from the way they are. The diabetes itself couldn't care less about how you feel or what you are going to do about it. It is neither good nor bad; it simply is. Wanting something to be different is sometimes good, especially if there is something that can be done to change something for the better. In this case, you're putting a lot of energy into feeling badly, and the energy isn't going to produce anything of value. Wouldn't it be a relief to take some of that energy and see if it can go into ways to bring your life-style into harmony around the things you have to do or avoid in order to stay healthy? Diabetes does NOT define who you are; it is just something that you deal with.

Aggressive behavior in response to anger-inducing situations is termed?

Hostile aggression, righteous indignation, misplaced rage, perhaps karma. The question seems to presume that anger is wrong, and that physical expressions of anger are wrong, ultimately. Not so true. If the situation demands an aggressive response, then the anger-inducing situation (or person) is responsible for that.

Are there any diet-based treatments for diabetes?

There are several different diets a person can follow to help manage/treat their diabetes. The main one, though, seems to be carbohydrate restriction. This method seems to help maintain good levels in a diabetics' life. There's more information at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21234818
