Go to Villa Auditore in Montigeronni. When you enter facing the stairs, turn left. Find the sword rack on the left hand wall in that room and click on Altair's sword, then equip.

Okay i beat the game killed the pope and all that but after that i realized that i left the sword of altiar at the place i killed the pope and i lost the armor too how the f do i get it back?
All the armor and weapons you have obtained can be found at the Villa. If you lose them you can reobtain them from their respective rooms.
