I know that it can be tought and embarassing to talk to someone about this problem but once you it will be much better for you. You have a few ways of going about telling your parents about this. If you really don't feel up to telling the one you can talk to the easiest you can simply write them a letter and leave it in a spot where they can find it and read it while you are at school and then when you get home home then they are more then likely talk to you about it. Or if you want to talk to them in person then wait till they are finished with what every they are doing and sitting around relaxing ask them to come up to your room or another place in the house where no one else is at so you can talk to them. Just be calm and explan that you have been wetting your bed and that you want to see a doctor about it and that its something you have not been able to control for how ever long you have been wetting. I hope I help you some

# Go throughout the day as long as you can without urinating. Only go to the bathroom when you absolutely cannot hold it any longer. This teaches your body not to let loose until you want it to. # Don't drink any liquid before you go to sleep. Watch the clock when you are drinking. If you go to bed at 12:00, for example, don't drink anything past 10:00 or 11:00. # Get a good night's sleep. If you wake up in the morning having only 6 hours of sleep, you'll go to bed that night and fall into very deep sleep. It will be hard to wake up when you have to use the bathroom. # Drink your liquids during the day. Drink more than you normally would during the day, and less in the night. #

# Don't have sounds of water in your room. If you have a CD or cassette player playing nature noises, such as a waterfall, a river, or a lake, consider turning it off or switching it to something else. If you have a fish tank in your room, sleep with ear plugs. # Wait it out, it will probably stop in time.

Clean up your mess and then ask your mom for help. Sometimes bed wetting has a physical cause like a bladder infection or another problem, so ask her to take you to the doctor so you can figure it out. If it isn't physical maybe you are upset over something and that can be cause. So, find out about one and then the other. Get help if this is something you keep doing.

If all the usual remedies such as limiting liquid, waking up periodically to go to the toilet, have not worked by this time, they are not going to. Check in with a doctor to be sure that there is not a physical reason, like sleep apnea, or if it is stress induced. The thirteen year old should be treated kindly and have fresh sheets and bedding readily available. A reward system at this point is not really reasonable, though.

this is NOT your fault, you have a bladder that is not fully developed yet, so your Mom or dad can buy some undies in any drug store especially for this problem, also do not drink anything about 1 hour before you go to bed, and if there is a chance ask your mom or dad to pick you up (even when you are sleeping) to put you on the toilet before they go to bed themselves. do not worry, this will stop in no time, sometimes worrying about it makes it worse.

Medically I'm not sure bed wetting is preventable, but I know its caused by an under developed bladder. The bladder hasn't grown enough to keep up with the rest of the body. Eventually the bladder will catch up and the wetting will stop. The best thing I found that worked was just simply not to have to much liquid before bed. Mishap's are going to happen and I always tell people in this situation not to blame or punish the child with the problem because its not there fault and when the bed wetting does happen the child has no idea its happening until its to late. A child with this problem has no control over it.

Well first of all being able to tell a parent you wet the bed is pretty hard thing to do cause its an embarrassing thing but it will be better on you when you do. I know you are afraid they will be mad at you but coming from someone who had to tell my mom when I was around 9 and I was afraid to do it. But she was not mad at me just the fact I was unable to tell her my problem at first. But their is a few ways to go about doing this. If you don't feel comfortable with talking to her then what you should do is write her a letter and give it to her before you leave for school and when you get home she would have read it and be their for you to talk about it. If you want to talk to her then just wait for her to not be busy with something when she is sitting down relaxing ask her if she will come up to your room cause you need to tell her something or another part of the house where you two can be alone. So explain to her what been going on that you have been wetting the bed and that you might need to see the doctor and that you don't like waking up to a wet bed and that if you would like to wear protection for night time cause it would be better for you.

Well, it's a certain possibility that the relationship has absolutely nothing to do with why you wet the bed.
