What i would do is tell them something about the book that will really draw their attention and then leave them with a total cliff hanger. And when they ask what happens next you have to tell them they have to read the book to find out.
Because there is a lot of benefits
Kids under 12 are typically more ticklish on average than older kids. This is because younger children have more sensitive nerve endings, making them more reactive to touch stimuli like tickling. As children grow older, their skin and nerve endings become less sensitive, leading to decreased ticklishness.
Every country has kids that can't read.
There are mostly adults reading comic books these days.
some kids like to be dumb a**es and read things that are a load of bull sh** like this. GO READ SOME nothing kids and listen to a lot of hoolywood undead that will pi** of your parents more then that cup of pi**
The trick for me was to find materials that my kids were interested in, instead of what I thought they should be interested in. Once I identified what the kids wanted to know all I needed to do was to provide them some quiet time so they could read.
Kids should read at least a book every two weeks
