area = base x height ÷ 2 ⇒ height = 2 x area ÷ base ⇒ height = 2 x 15 ÷ 3 = 10 inches.
Area=(1/2)(base times height). This is written as A=bh/2. The base is 39 inches and the height is 15 inches, so: A=(39x15)/2=585/2=292.5 square inches

The length of a triangle with a height of 12 inches and an area of 18 square inches is 3 inches, since area is 1/2 * base * height. Therefore, 2 * area divided by height = 2 * 18 /12 = 3
