How can you hunt ghosts?

Alright, now I'm going to tell you the complete truth and it's okay if you choose not to believe me. For 18 years of my life I lived in a 300-yr old colonial farmhouse in PA. And yes it was haunted. And I'm not talking about creaks, or little noises in the night, because yes most of the time it was the wood contracting and expanding or just the wind. However, my whole family have seen, spoken to, and heard ghosts. There were four ghosts in my house. A blond woman in a blue dress, a man in a dark suit, a small child, and a pet.

So there's my story and here's my theory on it: No, you cannot "hunt" ghosts. Ghosts will only appear to you if they want to. The ghosts we knew were quite friendly and those who moved into the house after us say the same. But you cannot call them with ouiji boards or seances, because they are human souls and were once human like you and me. How would you like to ordered to appear and be at people's beck and call? You wouldn't like it would you? Well, sure maybe cameras can capture an image or if you just sit in the dark and ask politely they may appear, but really they'll only appear to you if a) they need you to do something for them or they need to speak to you or b) they like you and wish to see you.

All those TV shows about "making" ghosts appear is nonsense. Also, not every old house is haunted, and as for me I don't expect every old place to be haunted and I don't go looking for them. In fact, ghosts can appear at any time and even when you least expect it.
