Exercise, diet (Low Carbohydrates), Keep your blood sugar in the normal range (80-120). You must check your blood sugar often. Have your Dr do a HgA1c on blood work. Have your eyes checked every year by a Opthamologist and feet checked by a Podiatrist. Learn about stress management and practice it.
