You can add a power point or video keep it informative understandable and interesting.

You can also make a presentation sound better if you use bigger words such as instead of using "really" or "very" try "substantially" or " extremely"

Visual aids! posters, pictures, or a symbolic example of your topic (such as a pair of broken handcuffs if you were doing one on Lincoln, he broke the chains of the slaves)

Finally if there is any way you could tie baking into your topic do it! Teachers like it and it keeps your audience involved! Examples: war? make food the troops ate or that they people ate when sugar and things were rationed! George Washington? make cupcakes using the recipe used for his birthday! Great Expectations? Ms. Havisham's wedding cake (I did this for my presentation!)!!!
