there are several ways to increase your internet speed (bandwidth)here are a few that i have found.

1. make sure your splitters/ filters are not faulty and are connected properly

2. make sure your home phone is connected to power (do NOT use a phone that runs fully off the adsl line) this changed my speed from 60KB/s to 220KB/s

3. make sure that the internet and phone lines use a line smaller than 2.0m

4. restart your router everyday(leave off for more than 60 seconds)

contact ISP provider to see if you have an outdated plan,

5. connect through ethernet cable

6. use a fast computer!

7. go into your account settings and make sure that a no noise level is set

8. do a speed test fromhttp://speedtest.net/and check if it has increased, if not im very sorry, contact the isp and ask them

Thanks

no,only the ISP can adjust ADSL or cable speeds, the only way to get faster is to up your plan, from say>example> your on a 256kbps,and up the plan to say 2000kbps hi-speed internet (based on ADSL+2 only).there are some settings in your modem/router that you can choose your speed but has no effect on the set speed from your survice provider.

How does straight broadband compare to ADSL?

Straight broadband and ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) are both types of internet connections, but they differ in terms of speed, reliability, and technology. ADSL is a type of broadband connection that uses traditional telephone lines to deliver internet service. It provides relatively slow speeds, with download speeds typically ranging from 1 to 8 Mbps. This type of connection is often subject to line noise and interference, which can result in slowdowns or even dropped connections. Straight broadband, on the other hand, is a type of broadband connection that uses fiber optic cables to deliver high-speed internet. This type of connection provides much faster speeds, typically ranging from 50 to 100 Mbps or higher. Straight broadband is also much more reliable than ADSL, as it is not subject to the same line noise and interference issues. In summary, straight broadband is a more advanced and reliable type of internet connection compared to ADSL. If you're looking for fast, reliable internet, straight broadband is the better option. However, if you live in an area without fiber optic cables, ADSL may be your only option for broadband.

Does a faster adsl router give faster download speed?

In most cases, ADSL speed is capped (fixed) by the ISP (Internet Service Provider). So the would be no, it does NOT give faster download speed! However, a faster ADSL router CAN improve speed on a local network (i.e. from laptop to desktop, transfers).

How do you know if you have broadband or adsl?

ADSL is a type of broadband connection. Do you get your internet service through a cable provider or a phone provider? If it's a phone provider, you have some type of DSL.

Does any wired router work with any type of internet?

You may refer to ADSL, Cable, dial-up or 3G cell phone connection to the internet. A wired router will only work if the type of internet connection provides a wired connection. So, likely COAX for Cable, RJ-11 for ADSL and dial up, and RJ-45 or USB for 3G cell phone

Does Myanmar Burma have internet service?

Yes, if course Myanmar has internet service. It includes dial up, ADSL broadband, Wimax, Skynet and IP star. ADSL is widely used and speed is up to 2048 kbps. Mobile internet was introduced in 2009. GSM and CDMA 800 network can use internet. GSM speed is 64kbps and CDMA is 3mbps but reduced to 128kbps in 2011 due to DDOS attck. But it does not still get back to 3mbps. CDMA users are now facing slow connection.
