How can you install heroes of might and magic III complete on a computer with windows vista?

i have purchased a copy of heroes of might and magic III complete, but it says the system requirements are windows 95/98/2000/xp, and I have windows vista and I have not been able to install it. If anybody knows of a way other then buying a new computer or not using the game I would like to know.

What you can try to do is install it anyway and afterwards (before you run the game), Right click and select Properties. Then click on the Compatibility tab and check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" with Windows XP SP 2 or 3 selected. Also, check "Run this program as administrator." Hit Apply and OK. Then it should run no problem.
