That depends on a few things. If it can be treated then it's not a problem, just make sure tht your partner gets treated. If it's a permanent infection that doesn't cause any life threatening conditions, then you need to ask your self a few questions and at least thank them for being honest with you.
First if you can accept your partner.
Do you still want to be with them.
Can you deal with them having this std and doing what you should to help prevent you from getting it.
Do you really care if you end up getting it.
If you can love and accept your partner no matter what then get some information on the std and ways that you can help prevent your self from getting it.
If you can't deal with it then have a chat with your partner and let them know, you can move on if you want to.
