It depends on what kind of watch you have, wether it was on at the time, what you got it wet with and how extensive the flooding is. If it is a mechanical watch (only has gears and no electronics) then you should be able to just open it and let it dry but if it is salt or sugar water you will need to put it in a shallow dish of warm fresh water for about 30min. If it is electro-mechanical (they usually have a battery) do the same as for the mechanical watch but make sure to get all water out of the electrical components before trying to use it again, if it was off or out of power during the incident their is a much greater chance of it working. Finally if you have an Fully electrical (digital) watch then unless the liquid only got inside the casing and not into the individual components you have almost no chance of fixing it but try the aforementioned methods just incase. Hope this helps.
Keep your feet from getting wet.

Keep the sutures clean and dry and avoid getting them wet for at least 48 hours. Ask your doctor when you can get them wet, such as in the shower. You can get your stitches wet briefly with a light spray, but they should not be soaked (like in a bath).

Yes you can. Cut them, then store them to keep them from getting wet. If the fire is already going, they will burn anyway as long as you don't overload with wet logs.
use a tray to float over the top of the pool, also keep and towel hanging over the side to dry your hands if they get wet. i suggest dont use your FAVOURITE book or one that is VERY SPECIAL to you because if its just a old book it wont be so heart breaking or the ned of the world! enjoy you pool!

Firstly you can try to wet them hot water. But you need to keep them wet for some time. Slowly you will be able to realize that the wallpaper tile is getting ready to be removed.
I am 16 and I bought a $100 watch... I notice that it is becoming scratched but that is the only side-effect...If it is water resistant, like mine is 330 ft (As a basic rule I take the number and times it by .7 to find what I would be comfortable to wear it at...The number is the LIMIT and it usually does not reach that before breaking), then you don't have to worry about it getting wet, or forgetting to take it off when swimming...
Since it is an issue of getting moisture out of the tightly inclosed watch face/gears, I would take a modern cue from the wet iPhone and seal it in a container of rice. Rice very readily absorbs water, and will actually leach the liquid out from inside the watch. This is why some people keep rice in salt shakers, to prevent moisture and clumping of the salt.
