if you have a cage i put a blanket around it and keep it warm once it got a cold and now it has no problems or just get one of the fancy cages because they are plastic and i have one and (again) i have no problems
yes but not all the time it will burn the hamster
Go to the vet! If you can't afford it, keep your hamster warm and feed it its favorite foods.
yes, also it is a place to burrow.
if it is winter dont keep your hamster near a window or any cold places. try and make your hamster as warm as possible.if its cold it will probably get ill and probably will die. We dont want that to happen do we!
No it will not. And you need to treat it immediately by a visit to the vet for proper antibiotics. Keep the hamster dry, warm, hydrated and unstressed but the vet visit is essential.
Hi, I wouldn't recommend it. Hamsters do not like warm habitats. It is especially bad if the cage is put near a window that gets warm, a furnace, or where there's a warm draft. Plus, the cage needs to be well lit. Hope that helps a little!
It doesn't matter where you keep your hamster as long as the environment is fairly quiet and warm. Since hamsters re awake at night, they usually go on their wheel,. Which sometimes is really squeaky and can wake you up, plus they sometimes smell a bit so it is up to you where you keep your hamster. Just make sure there are no loud sudden noises which could scare your hamster.
Make sure he has plenty of bedding in his house to keep him warm and make sure the room temperature is correct.
Immediately put your hamster in a warm place or cuddle him/her in your warmest blanket!
my hamster does the same thing. it is normal for them to dig in there bedding.they do that because is a natural habit for them. that is where they store their food and keep warm.
take a cloth and soak it in luke-warm water then ring it out and gently wipe your hamster. do not bath your hamster as they have a fear of water.
They love anything warm (blankets, hamster bedding, etc) because baby birds have very little or no fur so anything to keep them warm even in the summer time they love
