Take a continuity tester and check them. you'll find the bad one
i need to know where the speed sensor is in my mercury mystique so i can replace it.
I don't know if you can post images here, so go to mercuryvehicles.com and you should be able to find a manual in the 'Owners' section in .pdf format for download and/or printing.
Can be just a blown fuse, so check the fuse. The lighter itself can be defective or the outlet can be bad. Try a known good lighter from another car and see if it works. If so, your lighter is bad. If not, then check the fuse. If the fuse is good you know you have a wiring problem or the outlet is defective and must be replaced.
A little more information please . What year , four cylinder or V6 , automatic or manual transmission . Then someone can probably answer your question about the coolant system capacity of a Mercury Mystique . Thanks ( also might need to know if it has air conditioning )
pcv valve is located under exhaust manifold. Has long metal tube coming out of it. look from drivers side
What you shoulddo is basically just go see a mechanic. That would be your best bet because they will know more than you or me know about cars.
This car (as you probably know) has 5 fuse panels. Which lights are out?
Any Auto Parts store can provide you with this information.
It is under the instrument panel, left of the steering column. There is a button to push that releases the fuse block and it drops down. Be very careful, there is a large red wire coming from the power distribution block under the hood. It is in a connector with a green wire. They connect to the back of the fuse block. This wire feeds the heater blower among other things. If it is loosened in any way, it will overheat and melt the connector and damage the fuse block. I know from personal experience. I am looking for a fuse block and connector.
I don't know need to find out
I have a 1998 Mercury Mystique and just the other day, my starter started to die. I am guessing that your starter is in the same place as mine, which is why you can not find it. Open the hood, and standing on the drivers side of the car, look down on the side of the engine. (through all the hoses.) You will see the solenoid, and then under that is where the starter is. It is a tough job to get to it if you do not know what you are doing.
When replacing fuses it is important to know the fuse diagram. The diagram can be found on the back of the fuse panel, or in the owners manual.
