hi could be the dryer, the nylon lines (the 4 colored ones) and last but not least the air bags them selves. check for air leak when compresser shuts off. like if there was a flat tire. you will hear a hiss of air. hope this helps. You could have an electrical problem that's not allowing the air spring solenoids to open or an air suspension computer issue or just a major air leak hard to diagnose without more info. The thing is there is so much that can go wrong with all the components associated with air suspension. I gave up and just got myself a conversion kit which has saved me a tonne of money and time (and frustration!). My Lincoln still has smooth air ride feel. This can all be problems but also check the air dryer ( the canister the 4 colored air lines come out of ) for leaks or just maybe needs replacement.Try turning off the suspension switch in trunk for a moment I've had a car not fill front airsprings until I reset the suspension . I wouldn't even consider replacing the springs with coils. The conversion is noisy, inadequate and a short term repair at best the springs are too small and the conversion is poorly designed and quite frankly hack. In January they went up North for a week and when they got back home again the rear of the car was sagging well I found out temperatures below 40 degrees or above 90 degrees aren't good for the rubber on the air bags. I would recommend them highly to anyone with air suspension problems. Thanks Strutmasters, A Caring Son the spring kit is one way to go, like that guy said, and id take his work the kit is poorly made, spend a little more time on your air ride and rub a few brain cells togather, especialy on a MARK VII i have had realy good luck with there systems, my car is an 88 and still operating on all original air ride parts! as far as town cars and what have you i really havent much for experience whth them I have to tell you that Strutmasters stuff is very high quality and also they guarantee their stuff for LIFE! I have a Navigator and replaced the air stuff with Strutmasters springs and shocks. I have had it on my car for 2 yrs now and I have had no problems with it! They custom made the springs in AMERICA! And now I know that if I ever have a problem, I don't have to pay to replace it. UNLIKE the air suspension! I highly recommend Strutmasters! I also got my car fixed using Strutmasters! I have a Cadillac Deville and the suspension was very expensive to fix if I went through the dealer and replaced the air ride. I wound up spending about 1/5 of what I would have spent at the dealer! I am very happy and truly satisfied with the results and the ride is great too! Not only did I fix my vehicle, but now I have peace of mind! I, too, would highly recommend Strutmaster.
