How can you make a clip in Windows Movie Maker go faster or slower?

How to achieve that is by Publishing/Finishing your project.

Once it is saved to your computer in finished format, import the video back into Windows Movie Maker and add the Speed up, Double or Slow down, Half effect.

You most certainly can make a clip go faster or slower in WMM (windows movie maker)!

In the Storyboard view of WMM:

> Click on Tool, Effects

> Scroll down to Speed Up Double or Slow Down Half

> Click, hold and drag the effect into the lower-left box on the clip (a star appears)

> Add up to a maximum of 3 effects to each clip (keep dragging effect into the box)

Watch results of the action by pressing play in the preview pane. To remove the effect(s) simply right-click the effect star and choose Cut or Remove Effects.
