The chances of getting one out of an egg/catching one are 1 in 8,192 and even then there's always the chance that you don't have a Pokemon that can weaken it without knocking it out. However, you could use an Action Replay DS and use a cheat that makes every Pokemon you find (excluding the ones you already have) shiny. The code for this cheat is 12068AC6 000046C0. Once you activate the code in the Action Replay, you have to press L+R+SELECT to get the cheat going in game
