It would depend why he is hyper in the first place meaning he could be trying to tell you something such as something is wrong, he may have to go out, may just be ready to play etc. Pay close attention to his behaviour and habits - don't hit him, or yell at him - try comforting him and just laying with him, pet him and he will relax with loving behaviour.
This dog needs regular exercize. Take the dog for long walks or runs. Take it to a dog park.
Best thing to do is walk the dog. I watch a lot of the Dog Whisperer and Cesar Millan says dog parks are for fun. Walks are for discipline and exercise.
Yeah i take my hyper puppy for really long walks to make him tierd
The Biggest contributor to gettin him calmed down is to give him a constructive outlet for his energy. Take him for walks (runs will be better). Get hims somethign to wrestle with, play tug of war with a rope, and encourage all of this behavior.
Furthermore, negatively reinforcing the undesireable behavior is necessary as well. Do not pay attention to the dog by petting or appeasing it if it barks or beceomes overactive. Instead, give it a stern noise that it knows as no until it stops the behavior, and pay it no attention afterwards until it does something worthy. After it stops an overactive episode, give it one of its known commands, and then positively reinforce it. IT will make the dog wish to do what you say more, and realize that it gets nothing from overacting. None of this will work if the dog has no outlet for its energy, though.
It depends on the reason your dog is barking and what breed of dog you have. Some breeds are just naturally more vocal than others. Dogs also can experience anxiety issues much like humans. There is a product I have seen in a Sky Mall magazine that is like a tight sweater called the Thundershirt that claims to help with canine anxiety and separation issues that cause nuisance barking. There are also devices that produce a frequency of sound when a dog barks that will train your dog not to bark. See related links to products that are available to you that are humane and relatively inexpensive.
It may seem to you that it is the breed that your dog is. That may be true, for some dogs have a higher energy than others. You can keep your dog from having so much hyperness by regularly exercising him/her. An hour a day of brisk walking or running. This needs to be done every day to see a difference.
There are many things you can do when your dog's too hyper. Some are:
1. Find the Alpha Dog of the family (usually the man of the house). Let him/her lay down the rules.
2. Take your dog to an obedience lesson. That should help.
3. Put gates up by places where you don't want it to go. Put valuable items up on high shelves or places that are out of reach.
4. Put an electric or real fence in your yard. You don't want your dog to get too excited and chase after and animal when he/she sees one.
5. Take your dog on daily walks or play with him/her regularly.
I hope these tips help you and your dog.

You should stop feeding your dog puppy food when it reaches about 1 year. A typical puppy will reach adult size when its about 8-12 months.
Yes, if you construct a sentence for it in this way: The barking and the barking and the barking of the dog woke Jeffrey up from his sleep.
The sound of a ringing telephone in your neighbors house from you calling them to tell them that their dog is barking and disturbing you. You can also call Animal Control if this is during the "quiet hours", perhaps after 10pm and before 6am.
If your puppy, or adult dog for that matter, is barking constantly, it is usually an indication that the dog is bored and is not getting enough exercise or mental challenges, so try taking the dog for regular walks and maybe training.
Try giving your dog a cuddly toy ,a blanket and hide a ticking clock outside the bed/crate. hope this helps! :)

Agressive behaviour, Usually biting or barking at you.
Bringing home a new puppy is an exciting time in many people’s lives. However, once the novelty of the moment has begun to wear off, dog owners are then left with a confusing reality. A puppy must be trained. One of the most frustrating and difficult aspects of a puppy’s training, is teaching a puppy the appropriate times to bark. A puppy that is allowed to bark incessantly will continue this behavior throughout its adult life, and can become a nuisance to its family, guests, and neighbors. Bark Control In Three Easy Steps: 1. Use a firm and consistent command to cease barking. It is best to choose a separate command that is not used for anything other unwanted behaviors. For this reason, commands like No or Stop are too general. Your puppy will better associate a specific command like No Barking or Quiet with the need to stop barking. This command must be stated firmly, in a voice that is a louder than what is usually used to speak to the puppy. This will help to show the puppy who is in charge of the situation and reiterate that it is necessary to obey this command. In addition, the same command must be used consistently every time an unwanted barking session begins. Without consistency a puppy will never fully learn to obey this command, which is the fault of the master. 2. Incorporate treats into training. When a puppy listens to the ’no barking’ command for a few seconds, promptly give the puppy a treat. This will help the puppy associate the command with a pleasant outcome. Puppies learn at a much increased rate when pleasantly rewarded for their obedient behavior. Once a puppy fully listens to its masters command to cease barking, a decreased number of treats will be needed to reinforce the behavior. However, at the beginning of training, the use of treats will be a powerful persuasion towards obedience. 3. Understand that some puppies truly have a mind of their own. While some puppies may be more difficult to train than others, all dogs can be made to be obedient . In the case that a puppy will not listen to its masters chosen command to stop barking, negative reinforcement may need to be used. In the case that a puppy will not obey commands, fill a water bottle with rocks and shake the water bottle every time the puppy barks. This sound is unpleasant to dogs and will help a puppy associate barking with an unpleasant noise, as a means to discontinue the behavior.
