We can obtain it by the Solubility method. These two gases has different volumes. Oxygen has 4 volumes which dissolves in 100 volumes of water and ammonia has 702 volumes which dissolves in 1 volume of water. They are insoluble and soluble in water respectively.

You can separate oxygen from a mixture of oxygen and ammonia by a process called fractional distillation. This involves heating the mixture to separate the components based on their boiling points, as oxygen has a lower boiling point than ammonia. By selectively distilling off the oxygen gas, it can be collected and separated from the ammonia.

How can you separate ammonia and oxygen?

Ammonia and oxygen can be separated by using a process like fractional distillation, where their boiling points are exploited to isolate each component. Ammonia has a lower boiling point (-33°C) compared to oxygen (-183°C), so heating the mixture will cause the ammonia to vaporize first, allowing for separation.

Is ammonia a homogeneous mixture or a heterogeneous mixture?

Ammonia is a homogeneous mixture. It consists of ammonia molecules uniformly distributed in water.

Is gaseous ammonia mixture?

Ammonia is a compound, not a mixture.

is ammonia a mixture?

Ammonia (NH3) is a chemical compound not a mixture.

Is ammonia a compound mixture or solution?

yes it is mixture fro example ammonia chloride......

Is Ammonia heterogeneous or homogeneous mixtures?

Ammonia is a homogeneous mixture. This is because it is a solution of ammonia gas (NH3) dissolved in water, where the ammonia molecules are uniformly distributed throughout the water molecules.

Is ammonia a compound elements or mixture?

Mixture. Because it contains both water and ammonia.

Is ammonia an element a compound a homogeneous mixture or a heterogeneous mixture?

Ammonia (NH3) is a compound, not an element. It is a homogeneous mixture when dissolved in water, but a pure sample of ammonia gas is considered a compound.

Ammonia mix with Oxygen and ammonia mix with Ozone?

When ammonia mixes with oxygen, it can form nitrogen gas and water through a chemical reaction. On the other hand, when ammonia mixes with ozone, it can react to form nitrogen gas, water, and nitrogen dioxide, which is a harmful air pollutant.

Is ammonia dissolved in water a mixture?

Yes, every solution is a mixture of solvent (water) and solute (ammonia).

Is solid ammonia considered a mixture?

No, solid ammonia is not considered a mixture as it is a pure substance. It is composed of ammonia molecules arranged in a specific crystal lattice structure.

Does Neptune have ammonia?

Yes, it is in a mixture of H20, Ammonia, and Methane.
