No, iPod touch is not an Android. iPod touch runs on Apple's iOS operating system while Android is different Operating system.
If it is an iPod Touch, yes, you can work on an iPod or use the iPod while it is charging.
To have the iPod Touch show up on your computer, just plug in the iPod Touch while it is on. The computer should automatically recognize the iPod Touch whether it is a PC or not. If it does not automatically recognize the iPod Touch, then just open iTunes (version 8.0 or later).
yes you can
no
Yes. As long as the laptop is on and running, not in standby or hibernate, your iPod Touch will charge while plugged in.
IPOD NANO- Hold the pause button down until the screen turns on. ( if it is not working, then it must be locked, unlock using the lick switch on top of the ipod.) IPOD TOUCH- There is a button on the top of the IPOD- hold it down and it will turn on.
You have two choices.Go to the music app, scroll down to the song that you are listening to (if it doesn't automatically show up) and hit the pause button.Hit the Home button twice in quick succession, and a dialog box should pop up. You can do this without exiting any apps. Hit the pause button on the dialog box.
Add a background image to the iPod Touch via the Photos tab while the iPod is connected to iTunes. You can then select the image in the iPod's settings and set as wallpaper. (See links below)
