In general, PSP games do not 'need' a memory stick for you to be able to play them, but they do need it to store saved game data as the PSP itself has no inbuilt space for that function.
You can access the PlayStation Network from the PSP's menu bar. Here you can purchase games and download them to play.
You can play any Playstation One game without the use of a memory card. However, you will not be able to save your game. This goes for playing PSOne games on both the Playstation, Playstation 2, or a PSOne Classic on a PSP. (Though chances are since PSOne Classics can only be purchased over Playstation Network that you already have a memory stick to save onto.) If playing a PSOne Classic on a Playstation 3, you can save straight to the console's hard disc.
if it can be saved save it on a memory card for the playstation 2
No, Sony have stopped anyone copying games but you can pay £50 to have your ps3 flashed and then you can copy games onto it but your can only play those games and nothing else.

Any game you download from the PSN will go onto your Memory Stick. To play them, select memory stick from the PSP's menu bar, the games will be shown there.
no you just need to be in range of a wifi spot. but a memory stick can save your games and you can play where you left off in the game with out the game in it.
You just need a Memory Stick inserted and if the game you play offers game saving features (most if not all do), it will detect the Memory Stick and write to it directly.
You do not need to have a Memory Stick inserted to play games if you have UMDs.
yea you can download it on romulation.net and save it to your computer. Then have an R4i chip, which will be the game you insert in the dsi, but you will save the downloaded game on a memory stick from your computer. The memory stick will be inserted in the R4i chip. Hope it helps
You do not 'need' any kind of memory stick in the PSP for you to play games. However without it, you are unable to save game data. So while it is not mandatory, it is pretty much essential.
yes it is legal, so you can play the game even if you lost the UMD.
no because your xbox blocks saving and putting things on/off you memory stick
Yes, you can download the INSTALLER to a memory stick. However, you probably would not want to play WoW from a memory stick due to access speeds and what-not.
All psp games can be used with a memory stick. The memory stick saves your progress on your games. You can buy a memory stick from wal-mart for about 10 or 20 dollars.
