I would call a vet and ask that question. It is VERY important that you take care of this problem. I recently learned that raccoon urine has a parasite in it that can be transmitted to humans and other animals. This parasite is so stubborn that simple cleaning products will NOT kill it. If you have little kids that play on your deck or you eat out there you MUST get to this right away. I wish this info was a known fact since I have camped in places all of my life that had raccoons and I don't know why it is not common knowledge. I learned it from a weekly vet item in the newspaper.
Recently on Animal Planet I saw a program concerning raccoons. They stated in the program that raccoon feces and urine contain a parasite that can be transmitted to humans. So, if you have feces in your pool you need to take this into account. The program stated that the parasite was a strong one and hard to get rid of. If I had a pool with this problem I think I would drain it, and run the strongest shock treatment and cleaner through it that I could find. I know that to drain a pool and all the work I am suggesting means ( grew up with a pool), but I believe the program and it is important that people who get into your pool can not get the parasite.
set up a live trap with something shiny (balled up aluminum foil) or fish smelling in the trap and they will no longer drop fecal matter in your pool. you can get a live trap at any trading post or hunting outlet.
Motion activated sprinkler I believe they call it the scarecrow sprinkler. A motion light might also work if there isn't a place to put the sprinkler.
em.........................maybe block the pool?
