How can you properly dispose of military medals if you have no family to pass them on to?

You dont! you cherish them forever! as former soldier I can tell you I think its disgraceful you would want to "dispose" of somthing that probobly was earned by your relatives, and was earned with blood sweat and tears!

∙ 11y agoSometimes a museum will take medals off of your hands, and if not, go to the original grave of whoever was awarded the medals, and bury them just a little bit under the soil. Those are the most respectful ways to dispose of them.
