The answer will depend on the level of exposure and the amount of protection required. You can protect yourself completely by staying indoors in a windowless room. You will probably get scurvy because some UV is needed to help the body synthesis vitamin D. Reasonable protection is offered by normal clothes and UV sun cream for those areas exposed to particularly strong sunlight. Also, spending all your evenings in a UV lit disco is not a good idea!
